Messer Rat: a Visual Development project

This is a project running through my visual development process showing a selection of good quality character sheets as well as weapon/prop, and environment concepts.  this is developing the primary/central characters and themes of an overall story based on Beowulf and St. George & the Dragon.  a story about the Messer Rat, a warrior on a quest of vengeance against the beast that destroyed his home soon finds himself on a quest to save a land from the threat of the same monster that destroyed his home, and to rescue the Heiress of the castle and restore prosperity and peace to the region.
